TGV from Charles De Gaulle International Airport
You can take the TGV (High-speed train) straight from the Charles De Gaulle International Airport in Paris (CDG) and reach Bordeaux in about 3.5 hrs.

Trains leave from the TGV train station in terminal 2 of the airport. You can book your tickets in advance online through: https://oui.sncf/en .

Select: [Train]. From: [Paris Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport]. To: [Bordeaux (FR)(New Aquitaine)]. Booking 3 months in advance will get you great deals.


EuroStar train from London
Direct EuroStar train services from London were announced and should have been available soon?. At the time of writing however, changing trains in Paris (with an hour to do so) brings the total travel time to about 6 hours. Keep watching the space! Through: https://www.eurostar.com.

Getting to and from the airport
Tramway line A
The tram stop of the A line is at the foot of the terminal near the Hall B. The city center of Bordeaux half an hour away, where you can chance to lines B, C and D to access all of Bordeaux. 1.70 € for a single ticket (OR a 1 day pass €4.70). Vending machines next to the bus stop in front of Hall B.

Direct shuttle Airport - Train station
The 30 minutes direct shuttle (La navette) between Hall B of Bordeaux Airport and Hall 2 of Bordeaux Saint-Jean train station ( Centre-ville exit) makes it easy to transfer between plane and train (and vice versa). These coaches operate every day of the year, they have air-conditioning and free on-board WiFi and they are accessible to passengers with reduced mobility. Passengers are guaranteed a seat. 8 € for a single ticket, discount when bought on-line.

Public Bus
Access to Bordeaux Airport by public bus no longer exist through Line 1. But Line 39 offers a link to Le Haillan and Pessac where you can connect with Tram A (Haillan Rostand) and B (Pessac Alouette). Bus stop at Terminal B, Gate 7. 1.70 € for a single ticket (OR a 1 day pass €4.70).

The airport of course has car rental and is also served by taxis.



How to get from Bordeaux to Terrasson?
There is a direct train to Terrasson (2 hrs, route 32 via Périgueux to the direction of Brive-la-Gaillarde / Ussel), it’s easy & comfortable.
